Worklogs & Timesheet

User Guide

Worklogs & Timesheet for Jira Cloud · Vendor: Ontologi · Support: atlassian-support@ontologi.app

1. What the app does

Worklogs & Timesheet helps teams log time on Jira issues, keep a configurable daily hour limit, and review logged hours in calendar reports — without leaving Jira Cloud.

2. Where to find it

3. Logging time & daily limit

Open an issue, use the Worklogs panel, and choose Log Time. Enter date, time spent, and an optional comment.

Site administrators can set a maximum hours per day (default 10h) in Settings. The limit is enforced for time logged through this app’s Log Time flow.

Jira administrators may log time on behalf of another user when that option is available in the dialog.

4. Reports

Open Reports to build a calendar timesheet:

5. My Reports

My Reports lists saved presets with relative date ranges (for example “current month”). Presets can be Private or Shared. Open, edit, or delete a preset from this page.

6. Settings

Personal preferences

Choose first day of the week, date format, time format, and duration format. Changes apply to how values are shown for you.

Access

By default, only Jira administrators (Administer Jira) can use Reports / My Reports / Settings. Admins can add more users to an allowlist. The issue Worklogs panel for logging time is not restricted by this allowlist.
